2013 La Vuelta Espana Tour

The 2013 La Vuelta Espana looks set to once again to challenge the Tour de France as the race of the season. Despite being 280 kilometres shorter than Le Tour, La Vuelta is one of the toughest tours on the UCI Road calendar with competitors tackling a staggering 18 mountain stages compared to the Tour de France's 7. With the current crop of champions and teams targeting La Vuelta, the last of the grand tours in the year is now the race to watch as contenders vie for the red jersey in what will no doubt be a show stopping spectacle.
